You know, Bobby, I've wanted to see Saving Private Ryan ever since its
release, but something's always come up.  I understand it's on HBO this
month, but I don't have the schedule.  I heard a lot of Normandy vets needed
counseling after viewing the movie.

Oh, BTW, good news!  "Sierra", the magazine of the Sierra club picked up the
option on a tree hugger vs. farmer article I'm writing.  I'm so pumped!
I've had such a dry spell for so long I was beginning to think my writing
had gone sour.  The mag has an e-zine mirror site, so when it gets pub'd
I'll let everyone know.

        I totally forgot about Lt. Dan. That was a great portrayal of a
courageous come back. I've liked Gary Sinese ever since. He was great as
Harry Truman. I re-watched Private Ryan last night. Too bad all war movies
aren't that
graphic, there would be fewer wars.
