My name is Calvin John Naude. I was born on 21st December 1965, in
Bulawayo, Rhodesia, (now Zimbabwe.) It was a long and difficult birth, the
cord was round my neck -- I did not breath on my own. I am Athetoid Cerebral
Palsy with Dysarthria. But with normal, intellect, eyesight and hearing =
confined to a wheelchair. (TOTAL CARE) A QUAD. (Wear Bibs must time, also
wear pull-on Nappies, Diapers in night & go out.)
I went to King George VI School and Rehabilitation centre, for physically
handicapped. Bulawayo.
We left Zimbabwe in July 1985 and came to Pietermaritzburg.
Where I had a private tutor for 5 years.
(My parents take care of me. Physically and Financially.)
John Chap: 9 Vs 1 - 4:
My Mom, (as mom put on Diaper on me,) used to pray with me. At bedtime,
after the light went off. I would lie there, thinking who is GOD / JESUS.
And I would pray "GOD who are you." One day I was siting in the garden, a
small voice said to me "I AM GOD, LOOK AROUND YOU, I MADE EVERYTHING."
In 1978, I met a Physiotherapist, (at school,) she is a warm and loving
person, she was wearing a little cross on her collar. I asked about it, she
said "I'm a born again Christian." That was all she said!!! A few months
later, my good friend died in a motorbike accident. I began to think about
death and life.
18 months later, Rodney (my brother - a Born Again Christian) asked me, if
I would like to come to a Crusade, at the Bulawayo City Hall. I said
yes!!!! As he put me in the car, I prayed, "O Lord save me tonight."
HE DID!!!!!!
That was on Friday 14th November 1980.
