GARY,
I advise contacting Department of Rehabilitation, as I once did some research for somebody, and D. R. seemed like the best option for a new van fairly quickly. 
I wonder though, if you could start a consulting business, and then maybe you can get a small business loan? Then Regional Center could hire you as an outside consultant, and pay your business which would have a separate social security number which means that your business income wouldn't affect your SSI check. I'm not an expert at this, call Berkeley C.I.L. if interested in this.

Hi Kat!

This is Gary here from the list.  I think you're one of our tech
people here are you not?  If not, would you mind forwarding this
to the right person for me please?

I've been trying to send the Email below to the c-p list, on-off
since yesterday Friday.  For whatever reason it's not getting
there.  I don't know why, because I sent a test message to the
list and it got there just fine.

So when you have time would you check this out for me and let me
know what's going on?  Or if you want, just go ahead and send
this on to the list.  This may or may not have anything to do
with it, but I've cross posted this to several other 
Email addresses along with ours.  So I don't know if that's part
of the glitch or not.
