Breaker, Breaker, one-nine, good buddy.

Receiving you loud and clear in the UK!!

Had my 2 week holiday last month - took the whole brood (plus partners +

godmother & sister) up to a remote farmhouse in Northern England. Rained

every day, although we did manage to fit in loads of activities:-

Clay Pigeon shooting (didn't hit anything - well the instructor(ess) did
jump
out the way pretty fast a few times).

Human Bowling (you sit in a ball shaped "cage" as the rest of them push
you
down a ramp aiming at a pile of 6ft skittles at the bottom of the hill -
only
one to knock all the skittles down, probably because I wasn't pushing on
that
one).

Go-karting (spent more time in the pits than racing - I definitely need
power
steering these days!!).

6 wheel army Argo Cat vehicle over a sort of assault course (very bumpy
- lots
of bruises where you wish you didn't have them!!)

On the 2nd to last day I organised a "End of Holiday Court" - got a
friend of
mine to come over and be the Judge - everyone then gets "interviewed" in

private by the judge where you get the chance to "snitch" on everyone
else
(charges like "excessive bodily functions without opening the window"
or "being smug about knocking all the skittles down"). Then court is in

session and the charges are read out against each person in turn and the
rest
vote guilty/not guilty (everyone was guilty!!) and the judge passes
sentence
(invariable involving copious amounts of alchohol). I can't believe how
long
my charge sheet was!!

In all, a v. enjoyable holiday - been resting ever since!!

Cheers

Deri
