I was 21, and I remrember the housing crisis back then. People who had homes for sale couldn't sell them because the rates were so high that only the rich could afford the rates. I was in college for all of the Carter Aministration. I don't think Gerald Ford could've done much better.
Besides, I think Bush did most of the damage on his own. Carter inherited some the problems he faced from the Nixon/Ford split aAdministration. That's why I think Bush will go down in history as one of the ten worst presidents if not the worst....He might've inherited one of the problems he faced from Clinton, but he gave a black eye to the goodwill of the world by acting like a cowboy... My niece was in Germany, and people were coming up to her and asking why Bush was acting the way he was. Thry thought he was stupid. She wouldn't tell me if she was spit upon,
