i can relate a few times with liquid going straight up, and i started to
use containers with lids.

1) As a teen, I once was walking from the kitchen to
the living room with a full (uncovered) glass of iced
tea.  As I crossed into the living room, I had a full
body jerk/spasm in such a fashion as to throw the tea
up into the air.  When gravity returned, the ice cold
tea fell all over my head, face, and chest.  My
brother who was sitting all comfy on the couch,
laughed his head off! :)  I was in a cold state of
shock and frustration over the whole thing.

2) As a pre-teen, I went with my family to the movie
theater to see Halloween.  At the climax of a
particlarly suspenseful scene, I jumped/spazed and
threw a bucketfull of popcorn all over the person
sitting on my right! :)

3) At one party, I asked my friend to carry a piece of
cake for me over to the seating area.  She asked if I
could just do it since she was busy.  My response
(said with a smile): "Okay, you have two
choices...either carry this for me or watch me throw
it all over the floor."  She wisely choose the former
option. <smile>
