I agree when I have something to say to one person, I send it to that
person's e-mail.  However, you have to be careful about this; you can't
just click on the reply icon because that sends your message to the whole
list.  I think that is what is happening alot.  I copy a person's
e-mail address and put it in my address book.

Above all, just relax and enjoy the list.
