Glad you're on the mend (I forgot to say that before)!  For anyone who's
into surreal surgical experiences, try an awake craniotomy!  I had one as
part of a surgery once.  The patient stays awake to measure their response
to commands for speech and movement, etc.  After they were done mucking
around in my head (which was done in pretty much a sitting position), they
put me out to work on my neck and chest (I assume I got to lay down for
that).
