Have you talked about this with a consellor?  If you feel trapped and not
in control of your life, then yes, I'd say it's logical that you'd feel
this way.  You need to see a professional therapist ASAP.   

As for your question about how common depression  is amongst CP people, I
can't answer tha6t question because I'm not an expert in disability issues
in the US.  I can say that depression is common and that it's not just CP
people who get it but people from all walks of life whether they are
able-bodied or are disabled.
