This file is 3.9 MB, though only 10 pages long. I apologize for the size
but there's nothing I could do to reduce it's size. The original journal
can be downloaded but it's nearly 300 MB--and is only 60 pages in length.

I have asked Yahoogroups if MedicaidforHBOT list members could
automatically download files from the HBOTnow! list but haven't heard from
them yet.

It can be downloaded from
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HBOTnow/files/HBOT_Army_study.PDF.

I still haven't read all of it, but one thing they did was continue
Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy throughout the study.

From page 20:

"Two previous studies have documented improvement of 3.7% and 7.0%
respectively in GMFM scores following intensive Physical Therapy over a 6
to 8 month period. The subjects in our study received HBO treatment over a
4 to 5 month period with improvement in total score of 26.7% at 20
treatments, up to 58.1% at 80 treatments."

Wow.

Wow. That's a minimum improvement of over 800% in GMFM scores over just
doing PT alone. Plus, it's addressing the core problem and not just the
symptoms of the problem.

It's healing the cause of the problem.

Can the off-label use of Botox do that?
