Kathy Jo,

Sure! It might be a good idea to work with an OT or PT to see if they can
provide advice, but as we age and our abilities change, it's necessary to
learn new ways to do things.
I injured a knee 3.5 years ago (48 yo) and had to learn new ways to
transfer, etc. I worked with a PT on the knee, and had her help me find
new ways to do things (like transferring on/off the toilet...)

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress
depends on the unreasonable man.
