I kindly request if Sharpshooter would consider contributing the books, that
he has offered to a non-profit, to PTN for the purpose of either raffling or
auctioning the materials to raise funds to support the RDC project.

The Preservation Trades Network, a Task Force of the Association for
Preservation Technology International, has embarked on a secret project code
named, " The Rudy Decimal System."  The RDC project is to establish an online
conservation registry whereby conservators and practitioners would be enabled
to voluntarily record on the Internet the storage location of project
information pertaining to their restoration work. An example would be the
providing of information as to whom it is that worked on the structure, when
they did the work, and where the project records and documentation were
stored.

Rudy Christian who is a BP preservationeer, a timber framer and PTN Executive
Committee member heads the RDC project.

I also request if there are any BP volunteers, capable of communicating with
Rudy via e-mail, who would like to be advisers to this project.
