And, "environmental capitalism" is the locals charging the dopey
not-in-my-backyard Upper Eastsiders big bucks to dump their s--- in North
River Sewage Treatment Plant. Trouble is, it hasn't caught on.

Can you tell? I spent the morning in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. Formerly
"Sound Beach" until some of the denizens of Upper Manhattan and the Bronx
started appearing on the beach. Hmmmmm. We'll change the name and no one
will remember there is a beach here. Doh!!

Can't wait to get home to my apartment with the viaduct view!!!

Che.

Ken,

I think environmental racism is putting the North River Sewage Treatment
plant at 135th Street instead of Southampton. Perhaps the tree huggers
think it would've been cheaper to do it the other way around, and use the
money saved for social programs.
