My number was 4 in '72(I had the low number in my dorm and claimed the gallon
of beer that we had chipped in for) and I remember that the draft ended in
January of '73. It was announced by my hero, Secretary of Defense, Melvin
Laird.  The Navy recruiter was disappointed.
