Hey, I got my own role to play in the histo presto absurdity but if you
figure you got a city with a million stories there can be some that
appear a bit more out there than others. I have a likewise aversion to
the cut n' stucco approach to brownstone facades... but we got to
remember we are talking about humans here and they can be counted on to
do all sorts of screwed up things. If I had ever had reason to
anticipate some of the stupid situations I have found myself stuck in I
would have run away sooner. As I get older I can't tell if I am getting
smarter, more cautious, or simply cantankerous.

Have I told you about the small area of brickwork 80 in the air that the
architect/engineer insisted that we clean with tooth brushes?
