Good thing, too. The Montclair Times this week ran a front page article on
"Montclair's skunk population running rampant." (A slow and, no doubt,
odiferous news week in August, I guess.)

Meanwhile, I came home from vacation to find that a bird was living in my
fireplace chimney! Gosh, these critters never give up.
