Yes it's because you are on digest mode and it sends the day's digest
out early in the morning of the following day. You could try staying up
later or getting up earlier, or go on the night shift, all of which
would only ensure that you are disappointed sooner rather than later,
or... you could beg John to extend his planning horizon a little bit
further forward.
