to read Molly Spotted Elk, by Bunny McBride. "born in 1903 on the Penobscot
reservation in Maine, Molly ventured into show business at and early age,
following the example of many American Indians." She left detailed records
and diaries of her life and adventures...exploring the urban winderness of
NYC, escaping war-torn Europe traveling by foot over the Pyrines Mts,
etc...bridging the gap between two cultures through most of the twentieth
century.
