Hi Gang, Is there a paint specialist on this list? I seem to recall such.
If so I need paint help.

I'll try to make this short, in a round about sort of way. Putney
Historical Society has been given an old church building, which has A LOT
of problems, of course. There are groups of musicians who are using the
former sanctuary for performances. One of the MANY problems there is the
paint on the tin ceiling is peeling off in large pieces. We know the roof
needs attention, etc. but also are wondering if there might be other causes
of peeling paint. What sort of profession would we call on to give a full
assessment of the problem? There are structural engineers, electrical
engineers, etc. ad nauseum, so, are there paint engineers and if so how
would I find one at least semi-locally? Thanks for any help you can
suggest, Ruth
