Hi, all you smart and well connected people out there:  I am trying to help
one of my colleagues in Britain make contact with people who are aware of or
can provide leads to information about Berenice Abbott's (1848-1991)
commission to take photographs of the City of New York in the 1930s.  The
WPA hired her to do the work.  This request is in support of his PhD
research and the book he's writing.

Many thanks for any assistance you can provide.  I'll make hard copy of your
responses and forward them to Jim.  He's not e-nabled.
