Ken,

There's no doubt in my mind that you are to John Sr. more a son than
anything else. The truth be told, the best part of the work we do is
acting as liaisons for great men from the past, both extent and demised,
to great men yet to be. The joy we get from that work is conserving both
their creations and their knowledge. Keeping both of these alive is a
noble profession.

The sadness is temporary. The joy isn't. Congratulations!!
