OK guys and gals, you're the experts here.  I've got a fella who's gonna
come and put my loose bricks back it and pretty 'em up for me.  Mortar is
the stuff between the bricks, right?  I always called it ceement but you
guys said that ain't right.  Now what kind of mortar am I supposed to tell
him to use.  These bricks must have been made sometime around 1870 as
that's when the house was built.  I think my gggrandfather owned the
brickyard actually.

BTW:  Why is the stuff that goes between bricks the same as a "bullet" for
a large military gun?  Ruth
