I don't know how you do it, Larry, but you are an incredible resource of
trivia, especially relating to death and deprivation, it seems.

On another note, just came back from Deadwood, SD. Beautiful town and
climate! I have to say, their version of casino gambling truly has a
"wholesomness" about it that is hard to explain. Maybe it's the ice
cream parlors converted from former 1940s gas stations filled with
one-armed bandits that seem so incongruous. Still, it's great to see so
much of the original town preserved.

My question for Chris Hetzel is: does the town boundary coincide with
the gambling boundary and also the area designated as the National
Historic Landmark? I should have requested some maps while I was there,
as I've been wondering about this since returning to Michigan.

Thanks...

Ilene
