read it. funny in an odd way. i had trouble sympathizing with the inept
protagonist. perhaps it was something about his gut, which was so distended
it should have split, knee slapper or no.

truth, say i, is better than fiction.

Anybody else read (or perhaps we're all members already of) "A Confederacy
of
Dunces?" I read it years ago, and don't remember having had to wait anywhere
near 30 pages to split a (then-thinner) gut.
