Evidently the news hasn't reached y'all down yonder that some bunch of morons
in NYC has objected to installation of awnings on Haughwout Bldg on grounds
that proposed awnings had Talbot's (or some such) logo on them, and were
therefore historically inappropriate.  Ya think they're gonna go along with
SHARPSHOOTER (TM) brand awning covers, or even KNICKERBOCKER GRAY'S (TM)?

Why is it so hard to believe that those who live in the Center of the
Universe are even dumber than those of us in orbit therearound?
