No experience on my part (other than the occasional visit to caves).

Thoughts:

1.  If your fixings into the limestone can all be put in shear, rather than direct tension or pullout, maybe you could get away with using nylon plugs or anchors (Hilti HUD or equivalent).  This means that the only damage is the hole - still pretty significant I know.

2.  These should work for most electrical installations (lights, cable runs, switches) because the loads are so low.

Just thoughts.
