First point of call should be the AIA (American Institute of Architects). They may have some information on the building.

Next point of call could be DO.CO.MO.MO. - I think there are East Coast and Mid West branches of this International organisation dedicated to the documentation and conservation of significant architecture of the modern movement.  I can dig out contact details for you when I'm in the office if you want to pursue it.

But the lesson here for us all, as we approach the end of the 20th Century, is that the buildings we see as banal and boring, brutal and just plain bloody awful ... are the heritage buildings we will regret not having fought to save when we look back from the middle of the 21st Century.

So get down onto Main Street and start shouting for preservation orders on those secondhand car lots, Wal-marts and Chinese takeaway restaurants !!!  Your grandchildren will thank you for it.  Maybe.
