Rudy,

I love these stories...I meet profs. almost everyday I would not trust with $50 and a phillips head screw driver (not to even mention a gun!). To a large extent academia is a museum of bad/dead ideas and the national escaped village idiot collection.

W.F. Buckley, Jr. once said he would trust the running of the nation to the first 2000 people listed in the Boston phone book before he would trust it to the faculty at Harvard. I am sure that Boston has some pretty smart "A's" in the phone book.

Sic Semper Tyrannus Academicus!
