Question No. 1720 :
I have a pet rooster. He is about 6 months old. My question is that he has become very aggressive lately. He has attacked my neighbours, my dog, and even me. Do you have any advice of what to do?
Roosters, like chickens, are regarded as domestic fowls and they do not make ideal pets.

Bruce Marcham responds to

Rachel (Questioner #1720) and Chris:

...Or as the Saturday Night Live skit said "Chicken don't make good house pet" (from some Dana Carvey character, maybe an oriental market owner).

If you put a little feed on your keyboard they may help you type your NYT articles. Other than that it doesn't sound like a good idea.

Speaking of the NYT, I bought the Sunday version locally ($4.50 here in Syracuse, evidently a distant suburb considered to be "beyond the greater New York metropolitan area" and therefore able to afford an extra buck) and got the early edition front page section, The Metro Section, Sunday Styles, Sports Sunday, Arts & Leisure, Book Review, The New York Times Magazine, Travel, and Sunday Business but no Real Estate section. Isn't that where your articles are found? I guess they figure us Upstaters don't care about NYC real estate.

Mind you I bought the paper for a friend of ours who figures with a week's vacation she might just have time to finish it, real estate section or no.

Free Range Bruce (who should be in the shade on the southern end of Skaneateles Lake right about now sipping margaritas with Deborah, maybe fishing for some bluegills or sunnies or whatever takes the hook)
