I heard the other day that electroshock has improved since "One Flew
Over the Cuckoo's Nest" days.
It is now administered in microseconds. I've only known one person to
have had it done, several times, and I knew him then back in the 80's.

I walked into a party w/ Mr. Trelstad in DC one evening and a remark was
made as to the distinctive horizontal red line my hat had made on my
forehead to which I remarked something to the effect that I was
recovering just fine from my recent lobotomy, thank you very much for
inquiring. There was a noticeable silence in the room. I went looking
for a beer.
