I pass along this message from Steve Swiet, old-house mechanic from
Upstate NY:

*******
I received a call from a man who lives on Long Island, NY who is
restoring a early 1900's home. He has an architect who wants to replace
the windows. The owner wants to explore restoration first. Does anyone
know of any reputable window restorers on Long Island or who may
work that area? If so, the owner is Larry Cerota at 516-621-4820
*******

Also, please let me know of any window specialists on LI, so I can add
them to my list for the book, for ammo in the skirmish against the vinyl
pirates. (I already have Jim Hicks, Walter, Ken & Company)

yer pal in preservation,

John
