Mr. Cavaglieri is not keen on other buildings which seem to pass contemporary
preservationist muster, like the replica-Gothic addition to the Jewish Museum
at 92nd and Fifth....  "I don't think it would be wise or right to interpret
the opinion of a dead man" he says [referring to the architect of the
original building, C. P. H. Gilbert] noting that he admires Mr. Roche's other
work.  "He could have done something much better, but he knew that kind of
solution would get the approval."
