SOS Gab & Eti 1.8

The following is an account we received of a local politician suffering from
mad squirrel disease.

“The early campaigner, Malcom Wallop, suffering from wrong accent syndrome,
blamed the American Littoral Society for his primary loss. Confusing SOS with
Save Our Shores. With taciturnity surrounding the public sphere his think
tank kept referring to that big catastrophe with the Iowa wetlands. Islands
of the moon. Most things that smell are heavy and float down. Squirrel
squirrel. Mush head brains puddle dough beach sand. There was a big gas and
everyone applauded.

Bla bla bla recalls arranging a meeting between dick and dack at the mountain
oyster bar. He endured an hour long grilling of Sardines in olive oil. Never
before had he spent so much time communing, rubbing a lot of shoulders, or
avoiding such costly confrontations... you could see on his face that he was
uneasy mixing with these people. He kept shaking hands then wiping his palms
on his pants leg.

After settling into a black Chevrolet Suburban, touring the sights, seeing
the rural willies stubbornly erect in a flattened wasteland, he emerged a
believer. Now he speaks their language. He got big applause at the groups
national convention with his assertion that responsibility begins in small
rooms on high places. He was right on target with the problems families are
having with their kids falling asleep under moonlight.. He sounded like a
concerned plumber. A politician prepared to serve the hole industry. He
really seemed to be comfortable with his voice here.”
