I feel lucky only getting the foot, since it seems Phelps tends to get less
than metro Rochacha. Definitely get the fixing done because cats don't
really care if spring is in the air. Take it from one who has too much
first hand knowledge. We started out with 2 and ended up with 11. Now down
to 6, and can't find homes for 3. It's the new math.

Well Pam, as long as you don't send those cats here. Mine only puke, I
have gotten rid of the last of the pissing and shitting ones. We have 3
inside and 4 or 5 outside cats. The outside ones were here with Dad when
we moved here so I feed them to keep him happy even though he says they
belong to the neighbors. I have GOT to get them to the vets to be "fixed"
before spring mating season is upon us. I DO NOT need more cats to feed.
You only got a foot of snow!!!!!! We've got FEET over here, about due east
of you, I'd say. And more coming every day from the look of it. YOU KEEP

OK, I have been catching up this morning from the weekend run on my house
plans. I have to say that I LOVE the way y'all went off on this here
tangent. Anywho, once the last of the pissing cats is gone and we own a
piece of furniture that has upholstery and no pissy smell on it (sometime
this spring, what with the deliver lead time), I'm more than happy to have
everyone over. Of course, you could show up now, in the cold, and the foot
or so of snow that's hanging around - more on that in a minute - and sit by
the fireplace on the stinking livingroom floor. If nothing else, there's
enough room for about a dozen people to camp out in the room.
Now to the snow thing. Last year, Rochester, NY (I'm 30 miles east of it)
had a record small amount of snow. Less than 2' for the whole season, and
they trucked snow in from Buffalo for an annual downtown event in February.
My husband thought "How come these bleeding yankees complain so much about
the weather? Yah, it's more extreme than the UK, but it's really not that
bad." This year, he's eating his words. Rochester is back to normal with
58" of snow in November and December. I haven't said, "I told you so" yet,
but I think he gets the picture.
