Lost once again, I was supposed to be at 50 E 7th and went to 50 East 70th.
So, walking past The Asia Society, 70th & Park Ave., NYC, I saw the following
four architectural/picture books on display in the street window:

"A Last Look, Western Architecture in Old Shanghai"
"God & Country, Western Religious Architecture in Old China."
"Far From Home, Western Architecture in China's Northern Treaty Ports"
"The Last Colonies, Western Architecture in China's Southern Treaty Ports"

Authors: Tess Johnston & Deke Erh
Press: Old China Hand Press, Hong Kong

Possibly in exchange for this bookworm's tip we could get the BP
preservationeer who has been working on a project in Shanghai to share with us
a few scant words on his adventure?
