The simple answer is yes.  Sometimes it takes a second glance.  Most of the
thirties stuff was made to look like limestone.  In unweathered (sheltered)
areas it almost always develops a yellow cast and some black crusting.  In
exposed areas, it gets more aggregate exposed.
