Not quite. It's a several block long space-frame barrel vault canopy
over Fremont Street that has programmable LED lighting on the underside
that can put on message and light shows. Think JumboTron on the ceiling
with a really powerful stereo.

It is not a climate controlled space; I'm not even sure if it is a roof
that keeps the rain out.

The funny thing is that when I went there to do some preservation
commission training, they were all wound up with their preservation
problems of community apathy toward preserving their 12 settler houses,
when the real preservation issue in Las Vegas seemed to us to be the
history of all the early gambling houses downtown, and what was going to
happen to them in the face of the glitz out on The Strip.
