You know---

Two heliocopter pilots were caught in a Seattle fog when they lost their
instrument flight capability and radio contact with Seattle International.
Realizing the danger they were in, the pilots knew they needed a quick
reference point to make it to safe landing. While the pilot was trying the
radio, the co-pilot noticed a halo of light coming from below them and
informed the pilot who then lowered the aircraft even with the top floor a
large office complex. After the heliocopter captured the attention of the
people inside, the pilot scribbled, "where are we (?)", on his flight log
and put it up to his windshield. The folks in the office builing read the
inquiry and responded also in writing, "you are in a heliocopter."

The pilot nodded his head in appreciation, checked his magnetic compass
with his flight chart, and headed to the airport where he landed without
further incident. The co-pilot, after shutting down the engines, asked the
pilot how he knew where his was from such an ambiguous response. The pilot
replied,
"We were at MicroSoft."

"Well, how did you know that", asked the co-pilot.

"Because the information they gave, though technically correct, was totally
useless."

From The Chattanooga Times some time last spring.
