My father, Albert Tangora, the champion speed typist,
prospered in the 20s and 30s, and traveled a lot on business.

He told me that everyone was buying luggage covers
to protect their beautiful suitcases etc., and that
the luggage covers became so handsome (and competitive)
that dealers began to sell protective covers for the luggage covers.

(Is there an equivalent in architecture?)
