"Fantastic!!!!!! Who carved them? What is the material? Which ones
are damaged? What is the damage? Ruth"

Hi Ruth

Cwho carved them. I don't know who did the actual work. They were
carved in nearby Paducah and transported by rail to Mayfield about 30
miles away

Materials = marble and limestone according to my spare info.

Which ones damaged - a bunch

Most of the many large and small monuments were broken or shattered when
a large ice laden tree fell on them last year.
