Limewash

Kindly advise. Roughly what number of years can a coating of limewash on
exterior of stucco/concrete building be expected to last?

THE SPEC: "Mix a Type S hydrated lime to a putty consistency (let stand for a
minimum of 24 hours). Add to putty a dilute solution of an acrylic latex
emulsion at 1 part latex emulsion to 5 parts water by volume. Mix well until
the putty is the consistency of cream. Clean all stucco surfaces free of
loose debris and sirt, prewet the stucco with acrylic latex in a 10% dilution
with water, and apply the limewash mixture on the surface in one direction,
using natural fiber brushes. The limewash will dry quickly, and therefore
should be applied in small sections to avoid drying at the overlap."

Thanks,
