Hey Phil-

First, send Linda to the grocery store and change the locks while she's gone.
Then consider whether you will be covering pipes or other mechanical/
electrical spaghetti which will require ripping out the (ugh!) sheetrock in
order to get access. I bet you have bigger fish to fry on a house that old
than the basement ceiling. Spend your time and money elsewhere.
