Query: Clients (particulary residential I suppose) are often intimidated by
the superior craftsmen they sought out to hire for their historic home
restoration. For those of you in that line of preservation practice: What
personalities or traits have you dealt with that you find intimidating....even
though you have reached a high level of expertise in your field? I'm not
talking about the obnoxious and rude or overbearing, but the type that makes
you feel like you did when still wet behind the ears; or the first time you
worked with a "VIP" or cultural/entertainment icon.
Any thoughts? Curious.
