for cover! I can see the headlines now: "Mad Mason Bricks Bats Bozo"! Too
bad the Eminence Gray doesn't while away his days for a different paper --
one of those read like a book.

You know, that would be a really tempting road trip if it weren't for the
fact that Krispy Kreme was birthed here in North Carolina, and I only have
to go about seven blocks to see that bullseye burst of radiating neon-glory
proclaiming "HOT donuts now."  An original sign, not some franchise
re-creation.
