Blame it on Nintendo. The best and brightest of an entire male generation
has been sucked into high tech, starting with that innocuous little screen
with the buttons on it. Thank god the appeal is at least somewhat gender
specific, or there'd be no up and coming preservationeers at all. Mind you,
our computers would be much more user friendly.

                I think a lot of academic preservation programs are almost
entirely female now.
