We would only get those 'alerts' if we set up that particular rule in our
own inbox...I don't know about anyone else on this list, but having that
rule set up is silly unless you're trying to catch someone deleting your
email who claims to be reading it.  Outlook isn't programmed to send this
out randomly and if it does, you should report it as a bug.

OK GUYS LET ME APPOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE!!!!!   If you just got bombarded with
"deleted without reading" messages from "me", its because B Gates (of Hell)
programmed Outlook to send false nastygrams.  I have the bad habit of
reading in the "preview" mode and this is the result.  Just trying to clean
up a backlog of old messages.   Thanks   Tom  aka Arkie Cuz
