Ruth,

That's the difference between NYC and NYS.  Then there's Lawn Gyland, home of
the unHamptons.  Don't need no artichoke to design you a chicken coop out
there. The Contractors seem to be doing just fine without our sage advice, if
you don't mind precooked chickens.
