Is your point that America as portrayed on aljazeera is the real, gritty
version while CNN is a Happy Meal? I would argue that, on the contrary, they
are exactly the same: Propaganda, carefully filtered and spun, even if with
very different agendas.

I did visit the aljazeera site, but could only look at the pictures as I
don't read arabic. Bomb story on the Shiite guy who got blown up in Iraq,
grieving mourners, US soldiers on patrol (would love to know what that
comment was), glorious panoramic art of the dead guy with Ayatollah Khomeini
looking over his shoulder.
