I was once told the recorder was the easiest of all instruments to play so,
much desiring to be able to play an instrument, I joined a class for
recorder.  I don't think I ever fully mastered "Mary Had  A Little Lamb" or
whatever the beginning piece was.  I often wondered if the person who told
me that meant the tape recorder.  Ruth
