I agree.  Sometimes I look more at the scenery than at the road (lots of
NYS Thruway driving with lots of straight lines).  When I wass in college,
I had a bumpersticker that said, "I brake for unicorms."  Didn't use my
brakes much, but at least it made people wonder about the driver.

I don't understand why people are so picky about watching the road.  Most
roads are pretty boring, it's the stuff along them that's neat.
